Reviewed Marinated Tuna Steaks with Ancho Chile Red Wine Sauce and Spinach-Tomatillo Rice Cake

"I didn't have all of the ingredients, so I substituted different chiles and brown short grain rice for the arborio. Also don't have a blender/food processor so just chopped finely. Very good! Forgot to put honey in the sauce so it was spicier than it was probably intended to be, but I'm still really glad I made it. Really completes the meal. And r"

Reviewed Braciole

"I tried this recipe thinking I could easily replace the flank steak with something else...and that it's OK if I don't necessarily tie it together, it'll stay, right?
Wrong. Definitely use flank steak, and make sure you have something to tie it together or toothpicks to hold it together with. Also, be careful pouring wine into a dry pot -- it just might burst in to flames. I can attest to that.

Reviewed Ligurian Fish Stew

"Great recipe! I added a lot of chili powder because I like spiciness, and that just made it perfect for me. I also added a little bit of chicken stock and flour before the wine, because last time I just added wine to a dry pot it lit on fire...

Either way, the recipe was not too difficult to follow, tasted great, and I will be making it again I am sure!

Reviewed Chicken with Herbed Goat Cheese

"This is now a staple in my "menu" if you will. I made this for my boyfriend with white beans underneath - it looked so fancy and tasted so good! This is an easy, different chicken dish that's quick to prep and cook. I highly recommend, thank you Ina!

note: I used chicken thighs. I just like dark meat so much better, and they come out very tender.

Reviewed Mustard-Roasted Fish

"In addition to other Ina Garten dishes, this is a staple menu item for me. Easy to make, versatile (don't have capers? that's OK! dish that you can whip up in no time and is a welcome addition to the usual plain grilled fish option.

I used it on tilapia without the capers and with plain old grocery-store mustard. Tasted great and I make it all the time!
