Reviewed Parker's Beef Stew
"I followed this exactly (used only 1/2 of the meat though). I forgot to put the frozen peas in after cooking (I knew I would), but it still came out wonderful"

"I made this last week and followed the directions exactly. Absolutely outstanding recipe. I slow cooked the tomato's for 3 hours to thicken the sauce. Everyone loved it. Then I took some of the left over sauce and used it on a homemade pizza. Wonderful. Can't go wrong with this one!"

"It is very good. I followed the recipe cooking the red potato's for 15 min, then inserting the metal colander into the pan that cooked them, covering with a clean towel. 20 min. later, the potato's were perfect. Nice trick.
I also used 1/2 lemon, and the zest from that 1/2 of lemon. I also added 4 hard boiled eggs cut up and mixed together. "

"Nto sure what the stout did for this meal, but it didn't hurt it. Like others, I and my family liked the cabbage. Try using low sodium beef stock: there is so much salt in this meal it will shorten your life. But, it certainly is good!"

"Outstanding! Easy to prepare and sssssssooooo tasty! Everyone goes back for seconds (or more). I double the batch and it is not enough. The ginger is a really nice touch. Thank you for this wonderful recipe. The only issue is: It takes time to prepare. This is NOT a 15 min. fast food meal. I pre-cook the rice days before and leave it in the fridge (I use less water than normal when making the rice). The day I make the fried rice, I set aside 2 hours to make it. It is worth every moment I spend making it.
