Reviewed Chinese Spaghetti and Meatballs
"Good flavor and pretty fast. Cant imagine using all the liquid called for, I cut it half and it was still soupy. I plan to embellish the leftovers with more of everything plus extra veggies like broccoli and carrots. "
Reviewed Mushroom, Onion and Basil Pizza
"Great pizza recipe. The sun dried tomatoes really make it. Used arugula instead of basil cuz it gets cloying. Don't skimp on the onions too. "
Reviewed Classic Italian Lasagna
"I was looking for a good lasagna recipe and after reading the mixed reviews on this thought it might be worth a try. Turned out pretty good with a few tweaks. Added onion, garlic and carrots minced in the food processor and mushrooms to the meat mixture. Also subbed half the beef for italian sausage. Only made about 3/4 of the bechemel and did"
Reviewed Grilled Beef Skewers with Sun-Dried Tomato Relish
"Was a bit skeptical but the relish seemed intriguing. Turned out as good as the reviews here suggest. Only change was to add some balsamic to the marinade, otherwise stuck to the recipe. Will certainly make again."
Reviewed Easy Chicken Curry with Vegetables
"Very good recipe, just be prepared to tweak it to your specs. I subbed red bell pepper for the carrots and added mushrooms. I only had about a tbsp of curry paste so added a bit of sirracha and fish sauce, which worked well. The only thing I would change next time is to use less coconut milk as the final product was a little soupy. Would also "
Reviewed Quinoa Tabbouleh
"Although a bit different from regular tabbouleh this is a great use of quinoa. I also used about half the parsely and no mint, which I never use anyway, subbed cumin for the nutmeg, and threw in some toasted pine nuts. As usual, much better the next day."
Reviewed Braised Chicken Thighs with Button Mushrooms
"Awesome, will definitely be making this again. Great balanced depth of flavor, might use a little more essence next time. Highly recommended!"
Reviewed 1770 House Meatloaf
"Meh. An upscale meatloaf for sure but in the end it's still meatloaf. Even the garlic sauce was underwhelming and I love garlic. I cut way back on the salt but doubt that made much difference. Regardless, the leftoevers are getting the full ketchup treatment."
