About Me
I learned to cook and bake from my Grandmas and Dad starting at age 3. I love to create new recipes and share the results with family and friends. Cooking and baking are my passions.
I am medically retired from being a medical transcriptionist, food sample provider, baker, cook and deli foods provider.
When I see something different in the grocery store, like a vegetable or fruit or meat item, I like to buy it, take it home and create a dish using the new food.
Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, weekdays and weekends inspire to me cook. I collect cookbooks for inspiration to create something different.
Favorite Foods
I love to cook lasagna and am famous for it. Family and friends as for my coffee cake that I've baked since I was 15. I sent this cake to my fiance who was stationed in Viet Nam. He shared it with his bunkmates and they knew, when Ted received a round package from me, it was THAT coffee cake and couldn't wait for him to open it. He still loves it to this day. My brothers always ask for it for their birthdays and holidays.
