Reviewed Mint Chocolate Truffles

Made these to give as gifts for Valentine's day. They were a huge hit! Everyone preferred these to their boxed chocolate. Instead of the mint, I stirred in a teaspoon of raspberry extract and decorated them with edible glitter. So beautiful, so easy, and super yummy! ""

I made this today for a lunch date with my mom. One word: wow! She had not had corn chowder since we lost my grandmother who was known for her corn chowder. My mother said she felt like a 20 year old again eating it because it tasted like the chowder my grandma made. It was so creamy and so yummy! We just couldn't stop eating it! It was absolutel...

These were so yummy and buttery! My husband and I finished the entire thing off ourselves throughout the week. Bought figs to try for the next batch. Can't wait! This was super delicious and super easy! Thanks Ree! ""

I followed the recipe, but used a 7 oz. can of the adobo peppers. This dish tasted so yummy! The meat just completely fell apart and my family loved it. We've had it on Texas toast and wrapped up in burritos during the week. Not to mention, I saved some in the freezer for after I have my baby (due Feb. 15th) so this momma can snack on this good s...

My husband and I watched this episode and immediately started salivating. My step dad and step brother are from St. Paul and they talk about the beef sandwiches all the time. I thought this would be a great way to remind them of home. So, I cooked and invited them over. Our family from up north had already sent us some amazing giardinara and we a...

Reviewed Chicken in Mustard

Mar 22, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

I made this for my family last night and it was delicious! I was lucky enough to come up on a sale on the chicken thighs. I got 5 pounds for $2.50! The only thing I changed about this recipe was the amount of mustard. I used 2 tablespoons and it was just enough. I could taste the mustard without being overwhelmed by it. Yet another delicious recipe!...

I absolutely loved the Oven Ready noodles! They were cooked perfectly! However, there was a little too much liquid leftover when the lasagna was done. And next time, I'll only add about half of the cinnamon. It was delicious, but slightly too much for my family. Definitely yummy, but not one of my favorites. And it tastes sooooo much better the next...

The ribs were absolutely delicious! I could only find boneless country ribs, so I used those instead. The meat was so tender! I couldn't find the polenta in my local grocery store. But I'm a Southern girl and we eat rice with everything, so I used rice instead. Thanks Melissa for making great meals...easy!! "

The chicken was so moist and the gravy that the onions made...delicious!! The onions were so sweet. I sopped up the gravy with French bread and served everything over rice. Yet another great recipe by Giada!
