Reviewed Old-Fashioned Meat Loaf- A.K.A 'Basic' Meat Loaf

"Sorry, but there's not much great I can say about this recipe. It was bland. I did not care for the canned tomatoes in it. And the onions and bell pepper were too crunchy...not sure why unless it was because it was cooked at a relatively high temperature so the onions and peppers didn't have enough time to cook to a soft texture. The topping w"

Reviewed American Macaroni Salad

"This was very popular at the social I took it too, although I can't say people just raved about it. I made it almost exactly according to the recipe. I used less than the called-for amount of onion because I don't like a strong raw-onion flavor. I also doubled the dressing. I put half of it on as soon as I drained the pasta, while it was still"

Reviewed Peaches 'n' Cream Cups

"Oh My Goodness! This is fantastic. And so easy. I made it exactly according to the recipe. I used Bonne Maman Peach Preserves, and the 13-oz. jar was almost exactly one cup. It makes a lot more than I expected. I had enough for 8 little dessert cups. If you like peaches, you will love this.""

Reviewed Old-Fashioned Macaroni Salad

"I made this exactly as the recipe called for except I left out the ham, and it was very good. If possible, I would have given it 4 1/2 stars rather than 5, because it was a little dry, but I do like a moist macaroni salad. When I make it again I will increase the mayo from 2/3 cup to 1 full cup. I think then it will be a full 5-star recipe. ""

Reviewed Frozen Lemonade Pie

"Hmmm, the recipes says to keep the lemonade concentrate frozen, but Gina says to defrost it???? I would sure like to know what other cooks did before I try it myself."

Reviewed Mediterranean Salad

"This is delicious. It kinda has to grow on you because it has such an unusual flavor. I made it exactly as the recipe calls for with two minor adjustments per other reviewers' suggestion. One, I added the craisins to the cous cous while it was still hot. The second change I made was to put a little less of the fresh herbs and chopped them very fine. We had it room temperature with dinner last night, and I just had some cold leftovers for lunch. Loved it both ways. "

Reviewed Pumpkin Bars

"I think this recipe is almost perfect as is. The only thing I might do differently next time would be to increase the cinnamon a little. It was a hit with my family. YMMOM, either you made a mistake when preparing this recipe or you are someone with too much time on your hands who enjoys sabotaging reviews because NO ONE would say it was disgusting if you had prepared it correctly.
