Reviewed Crispy-Skinned Chicken a l'Orange
"I'm going to go with just "OK" on this one. I loved the glaze but I added a couple of dried chili peppers, some pepper flake, a clove of garlic and some thyme to it. My problem with it was that the skin did get or stay crispy. At the end I ended up taking the soft skin off thus getting rid of a good portion of the glaze. I'll make it again but I'll just use boneless/skinless and call it a day.
Reviewed Braised Country-Style Pork Ribs
"I'm struggling with this rating. The Polenta is absolutely delicious and will probably go into my rotation of sides. Problem is I'm not a huge pork fan, I didn't hate it but if it was a cut of beef I would have loved it. An recommendations on what type of beef I could substitute in this recipe? If you like pork you'll love this recipe IMO.
Reviewed Bacon and Egg Macaroni Salad
"Well that wasn't good. Tasted nothing like the"deviled egg" that she described it as. Really just had no flavor and I'm not sure why I wasted the bacon by boiling it, it added nothing to the pasta flavor. I'm going to end up adding a bunch of salt and pepper to it to get some sort of flavor out of it. At the very least it was cheap so I don't feel as bad wasting my time with it.
