I can't have soy so I substitute w/ my own balsamic type concoction.. if i could eat soy this would be even better. but this was very very tasty. My husband loved it too. He said, "I like the sauce." I forgot to add the raisins. (I don't like them anyway.) we are gluten free... and this is a fab recipe. straight from the oven they were incredible. After a bit they did get more crisp but still so tasty. They did not flatten out. Part of it is the seasoning - i buy some really wonderful cinnamon and that just pops in this recipe. DO IT BY...
