 SEE ALERT AD UPDATE AT BOTTOM>>I have two grown middle age children one son and one daughter my daughter lives in Iowa, I miss her dearly   but she rarely if ever comes to visit. wrapped up in her world . My son travels and is not home much. have 2 grandkids that live nearby but don't see them as often as we would like,  they are now teenagers and never come over always on their cellphones or Ipod  have been married for 49 years! We used to live up by Hayward Wi for over 25years and miss the great summers, falls blue lakes, and all the woods but not the snowy icy winters,I hate the long hot, humid summers and falls here in the south , don't cool off much until just before Christmas. My ideal liiving arrangements would be living up north from mid april till Dec1. and then live south from Dec till April I used to laugh at the snowbirds,now I want to be one .. I love to garden both flowers and vegatables We had a small apple orchard up in Wisconsin where we lived on a small 40 acre farm right outside town complete with a huge machine shed and big silo had to tear the old barn down  that was so beautiful with gentle rolling hills , Iused to grow these humongous pumpkins and tomatoes there and miss my farm fresh  pies and fresh eating apples picked fresh from the 5 apple trees , had bushels and bushels never had a worm in any of them either, never even sprayed them , used to put a sign out by the road that read "FREE apples".. only bad thing was they attracted lots of wasps! ...My pet peeve is anyone who does not respect and is anyone who is unkind to animals I just can not tolerate cruelty especailly to a living creature that cannot fight back or speak up for itself .. My other pet peeve are drivers driving while talking on their cell phones I have had some very close calls because of this and have seen accidents with cell phones being the cause There should be stricter enforcements and penalities on these issues OK done ranting now LOL  Fall2012.ALERT ALERT we moved back to a small town in northern Wisconsin  this spring! live on edge of town Has to sacrifice and practically give house away  to do it but We did it   Grandpa lives to fish and hunt and go for rides in the Blue Hills  so beautiful  had to leave grandkids and son back south which makes me very cery sad  they were up this summr 4 a few days ..just me & grandpa now .
