Reviewed Roast Prime Rib with Thyme Au Jus

The best!!!! I was so worried because I had never made prime rib before but I made a 14 pound prime rib for Christmas Day (16 people) and it turned out perfect. I didn't have any leftovers at all!! I had 3 people not come due to the flu so next year same recipe but I will probably make two. Thank you Bobby Flay!!!!

My fault...salty!! I underestimated the saltiness of the Parmesan cheese and way over salted:( first recipe I've made from FN that was a bomb...peeled off the topping which by the way browned up nicely, and just ate the chicken:(

Such a great flavor!! I did add a little extra garlic and crushed red pepper. I didn't have tomato paste so I used 3/4 can tomato sauce. Served over Parmesan grits instead of polenta. Have to double the recipe next time because it is all gone!!! Excellent recipe!!!!!"

It worked for everything but the Jambalaya .......never, ever, make a rice dish the day before..lesson learned. I reheated int the oven and the rice turned out mushy. I 5 timed this recipe for a party andit was a huge hit. Lots of second servings and people raving about how much they loved it. I used Choizo sausage out of the casings and it added just enough spice. I made it the day before but didn't bake it.....threw it in the oven at 350 for about an hour and it was perfect.
