"EASY AND DOESN'T REQUIRE A TRIP TO THE GROCERY STORE.... OH AND DELICIOUS :
This recipe was super easy and utilized things that I always have on hand : Perfect for impromptu dinners! I did use apple cider vinegar instead of rice wine vinegar, I don't know what the difference would've been but the flavor was great.

Reviewed Beef Short Ribs

" I tried this after watching Ina make it this weekend and it looked super easy, and it really was!! I followed the ingredients minus the fennel and I didn't have the fresh herbs, or the correct ones, for that matter, so I just put in some of what was in my cabinet: oregano, parsley, and a bay leaf.
I ended up sauteing the veggies in a pan instead then moving it all to a crock pot. I put it on high and went shopping. I came home 4 hours later and the meat was super tender and the liquid, very thin. I added quite a bit of corn starch and it thickened it quite a bit, but not to a gravy, just a sauce.THEN I added a couple cans of canned potatoes to make it a little more well rounded and heated it through :
I put it over some egg noodles, and my husband was a happy camper!
