Although this recipe was very easy to prepare, I found it rather bland. After tasting, I added salt, pepper, ginger and nutmeg for more flavor. It was much better after my additions. I also put a dallop of sour cream on top. I would make this again, but with my additions. ""

My entire family (including relatives) loved this recipe. What a refreshing change from heavy, mayo-based potato salads. My supermarket was out of fresh thyme, but it was still fantastic. We LOVED the olives and capers. ""

Delicious and so simple! My two young children are very picky, so I decided to replace the grits with rice (they have never eaten grits. I used boil-in-bag jasmine rice, and when it was done cooking, I drained it and dumped it back into the pot. I swirled the butter and cheese in the cooked rice. I then served shrimp on top of rice. It was a hit!!...
