An excellent recipe, I gave it four stars only because no where does it say to chill the dough before rolling. So I ended up rolling the dough, used my cookie cutters, then chilled it. That way everything stayed cold while I brushed it with an egg wash, and dipped them in colored spinkles for a Christmas cookie. And I baked mine for only 12 minutes,...

These cupcakes are so deilcious and moist you dont even need to frost them, and I love frosting. This has now become my goto yellow cake recipe, sometimes I replace the buttermilk with coconut milk and for coconut cake. Its a fairly simple, easy recipe that comes out perfect everytime.
