Reviewed Roasted Butter Herb Turkey

"This turkey was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I have never cooked a turkey in my life and this year it was my turn to host 15 people. This recipe (along with some video tips from Alton Brown) made it very easy. I followed the recipe exactly for my 19.5 lb turkey. The only slight change I made was to blast the turkey at 475 for the first 30 minutes and then covered it with foil and brought it down to 325. I used an oven-safe thermometor and set it to beep when the breast was at 161 degrees (per Alton). It was complete perfection. Crispy skin, VERY juice meat. Everyone was very impressed!!! I highly highly recommend this recipe and cannot imagine why anyone would give it less than a perfect 5 star rating!
