Reviewed Grilled Thai Chile Garlic Shrimp

"This is an absolutely AMAZINGGG recipe and one of my and my husband's absolute FAVORITES. I've made it so many times over rice. **HELPFUL TIP...Before I put the shrimp into the marinade, I pour a little of the marinade into a second bowl which I use to brush on the shrimp as it cooks, and then I pour a little of the mixture into small ramekins which I serve alongside with the dish for dipping and for flavoring the rice I serve with it. I found that if you dont brush the shrimp with the marinade while they are grilling, they can get a little dry. Brushing them keeps them nice and moist and adds a lot of flavor. Even with the brushing though, my husband and I always want more of the marinade to dip the shrimp in while we're eating because its THAT good. Enjoy!!!

Reviewed Skirt Steak with Ancho-Onion Steak Sauce

"Expected this to be a lot more exciting than it was. The sauce was good and had a nice depth of flavor but it didnt taste as great as it looked and it didn't have any pop. I specifically went out and bought dried ancho peppers for this recipe which I now regret doing. My husband liked it but I felt it was average. Not special enough to make again.

Reviewed Chicken and Dumplings

"Perfect cozy meal for fall/winter! Turned out delicious and the dumplings were great. Loved that it was a whole meal in one dish (chicken, veggies, the dumplings were the starch - plus my base was a little on the liquidy side so it was like there was soup in there too!) The only issue was that it was WAY too much food. I even HALVED the recipe (2lbs of chicken breasts instead of 4lbs of thighs/legs) and it was more than enough for myself and two hungry men. I knew I'd have leftovers for the Round Two Recipe (Chicken Crepes) but I know I will have leftovers even after I make this next dish tonight. GREAT for a family or for entertaining!

Reviewed Ricotta Ravioli with Spinach Pesto

"It's all about the hazelnuts. The flavor they contribute is really delicious. However, I halved the amount of hazelnuts because it was a little too rich (tasted more like dessert than dinner). I also only used one cup of ricotta instead of two and it made 18 ravioli. My husband and I could only finish 12 of them because of how rich and heavy they were. The leftovers were great the next day though!

Reviewed Coconut Curry Thai Chicken

"This was the best meal I've ever made in my LIFE! I took the advice of the other reviewers and halved the amount of curry paste and powder and it was perfect. I also added a tspn of sriracha just for a little more of a kick. I served it over riced and used portobello mushrooms, red onion and roasted red peppers as my veggies. Unreal. My husband and brother in law didnt believe that I made it. I can't wait to make it again!
