Reviewed Carrot, Sweet Potato and Squash Soup

"This did take quite some time to prepare as the first reviewer said. As one who is not particularly fond of sweeter soups, the chorizo and plenty of salt are a must. I also garnished with parsley and cheddar. I liked it, but it still needs a little something. I'm just not sure what that is."

Reviewed Jamie's Coconut Cake

"The cake is terrible but the filling and icing are fantastic. Buy a white box cake and follow the rest of the recipe. That is what I plan to do next time.

Reviewed Adobo Shrimp Tacos with Smoked BBQ Chipotle Coleslaw

"Great idea. I didn't have the chipotle seasoning suggested so I used one I found at the store. Used my own guacamole recipe with it and it was fantastice. Cole slaw was ok but the crispiness it contributed to the taco made it great!"

"Great traditional meat loaf. Soooo good with mashed potatoes!""

Reviewed Seared Cod with Chive Butter Sauce

"I made this without the butter sauce since I didn't have all the ingredients. It was a little dull with salt and pepper only, so on the second batch I added a little Cavender's and Seasoned Salt. Fantastic! A great way to add fish to your diet without deep-frying and it was one of the quickest meals I've ever made. Love it! ""
