This recipe is great to follow. There are two hints that I appreciated. One: how to slice the onions. Two: the long time it takes to caramelize them. Other recipes claim it takes less time, but I don't mind taking my time, and it pays! As far as the red wine, I just dump whatever I have left over. Now, I always happen to have wine, both white"
