Reviewed Balsamic-Rosemary Butter
"This recipe does not work. Tried twice and neither time was I able to make it work. Think the problem is the 2 cups Balsamic Vinegar. I am unable to reduce it to a quarter cup without it turning into tar. The amount of reduction that is called for is 400%. I believe the starting amount of vinegar should be 1/2 cup. Every other Balsamic reduction that I am able to find only says to reduce the vinegar by half. Has anybody tried this recipe and made it work following the directions given?
68 years old and love cooking
