Replied to chicken in milk

Nov 18, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I also found this comment smug - ha! I am also a very good cook albeit not one professionally, but I have found the real issue with people whose recipes don't come out well is that they cut corners (oh I didn't have that so I left it out .... people, I go to 3 grocery stores to get ingredients if I have to) or they otherwise don't follow directions....

I thought this recipe was excellent and we will definitely make it again. I seasoned the chicken well and it had a great flavor, although what blew me away is how tender and moist it was. I am not a fan of chicken breasts because they can be dry, so this would be the first time I have ever really liked a chicken breast that just didn't come off...

This was a huge disappointment. I felt like I cooked the wine and broth down twice as long as stated, as well as the cream. But still, the sauce stayed so runny and thin. Followed recipe exactly and rarely have issues. Made Emeril' similar dish a while ago and was just so much better.

I love lamb and thought this recipe was very easy and came out great. A few side notes - First, I just mixed the minced garlic with the mustard because, well, I am lazy. Second, I left it in the oven for 25 minutes and it was a perfect medium rare. I wish my butcher had trimmed it better because there was still a lot of fat on the bone of the c"

I thought this recipe was excellent. You do have to have a fondness for goat cheese to enjoy, and I may cut back just a smidge, but otherwise it was very good. I agree that this is something you want to eat hot off the stove as it is not quite as good heated up and loses some of its moisture. Next time, I may try the suggestion of adding minced"

Y to the UMMY :) This was VERY good. I only wish Guy would market and sell his own pre-made seasoning blend so I could have saved some time and effort mixing all the spices. I made it exactly as written (he's a chef, I'm a lawyer -- he knows better than me, right?!). Next time I will try mine a little spicier-- I wimped out this time - ha!""

I love sea salt and peanut butter (especially with chocolate) so I was very excited to try my hand at this recipe. I consider myself a pretty good cook and can follow a recipe perfectly, but this one did not pan out for me. First, it is pretty labor intensive and I was just not overly impressed with the results. I like the peanut butter fillin...

I made this recipe, but used a good parmesean instead of smoked mozzarella (I am not a fan of smoked cheeses) added a few tablespoons if butter at end (instead of the olive oil because I did not want it too garlicky and a healthy dose of salt and pepper. And I used spaghetti instead of angel hair because I like a little thicker of a pasta. Came "

I honestly tried this recipe because it reminded me of a healthier version of a rice dish my family makes. No disrespect to Claire Robinson because I love her and her show, but this one did not beat my old standby in my humble opinion. It was kinda blah and just did not have the flavor I have found in ours. Plus, mine requires no stove time so i"

Really yummy. My only advice -- make sure you have big chunks of b'nut squash. I honestly did 1 inch and they got a little mushy toward the end. Wish I could have found them pre-chopped as I sometimes do at whole foods because that would have saved some major time and then they would have probably withstod the heat more. My husband LOVED this...

Ok, this bad review before me is absolutely non-sensical.... First, what grown adult in the United States has never had goat cheese? And, second, if you have never tried it, why are you making a recipe that includes it as a key ingredient? I happen to love goat cheese and thought the flavors in it were spot on. I used dried cherries instead of...
