Reviewed chicken nacho soup

1 day ago on FoodNetwork.com

Well, the picture made my husband request this soup. Here's what happened when I made it: After 7 1/2 hours, the potatoes were hard but the zucchini was mush. I put the chicken in raw, as directed, and turned the crock pot up to 'high'. The chicken cooked in 30 minutes, just like the recipe said, but the potatoes were still not edible. So I left the...

Loved this recipe, as did my husband, and he is pretty picky! He even wanted the leftovers to take to work for lunch. This rarely happens! I used snap peas instead of pea pods as snap peas tend to hold up better and not get soft as quickly. They were delicious in this dish.

Really good risotto! My husband, who does not like risotto, agreed to eat it after he saw Giada make this on TV. He's got a thing for Giada. : Anyway, I did not use fennel (I forgot to buy it and I added freshly grated Pecorino-Romano when the dish was finished. It was delicious. I think next time I will use less lemon and add saffron..."

Wow! This pumpkin soup was delicious! Most pumpkin soups can be too pumpkin pie-y but this one was so good! I used my immersion blender and left the soup ever-so-slightly coarse (just 'cause I didn't want to get out my blender. Next time I will add a bit of Parmesan and croutons as a finishing touch. Even my super-picky husband liked it! ""

These cookies are very good. Not too sweet and not too pumpkin
pie-y. I like the fluffy, cake-like texture. Next time I will use more chocolate chips, just because.""

Reviewed Sangria

Well, this recipe is excellent, with one adjustment made: only a splash of bubbly water, not 750 ml! I initially added the amount of bubbly water specified in the recipe, but found that it gave the sangria a wine-cooler-like flavor. And the sangria also looked a little cloudy. But with ALOT less bubbly water, it tastes great, like something one would...
