Reviewed creamy polenta

Adapted a Tyler Florence polenta recipe to this by adding julienned sun dried tomatoes and chopped kalamata olives after the corn meal has thoroughly been mixed with the liquid. Put it into a buttered 9 x 13 and let cool. Slice it into squares and onto the grill just before serving.

We bought the mussels from Costco. They are from Prince Edward Island and already had the beards removed. Put 1/3 c. flour onto the garlic/shallot after it was done. Added the red pepper flakes. Let it cook down. Doubled the amount of wine. Added two cups of pasta water as the mussels were cooking. Have a lot of bread."

Excellent basic split pea soup. I have used a pressure cooker for soup for quite some time and get away from the soaking overnight.
