Reviewed Elephant Ears
"I absolutely love these. My sister and I used to make them all the time when we were kids. So delicious. Today I was sick and felt like a cinnamon roll. I didn't feel like waiting for anything to rise, and definitely didn't want it to be too involved. I remembered these for some reason and decided to try them. Absolutely perfect, definitely cured m..."
Reviewed Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
"These are delish. I made 2 batches because they were for gifts but we ended up eating the first batch! When I made the 2nd batch, I realized that on the first, I only used white sugar and never added the brown. Then on the 2nd batch, I used 1/2 cup of cocoa by accident and not a 1/3. So I think this is a fool proof recipe!! Came out very good, but"
Reviewed Chocolate-Hazelnut Ravioli
"So easy and delish! My husband and I wanted a dessert but I definitely did not want to break out the mixer or turn on the oven. These took about 5 minutes to make and cook and they were delicious!""
Reviewed Chocolate Honey Almond Tart
"This was great!! So easy to make. I can never find chocolate graham crackers so I used Teddy Grahams. They were cheaper than regular graham crackers anyway! I was afraid it would be too sweet based on the reviews so I used 3 ounces of unsweetened chcoolate that I had and 9 ounces of chocolate chips. I think it's the perfect amount of sweetness. I "
Reviewed Chicken and Steak Fajitas
"This was great!! Super simple, and I had all the ingredients on hand. I just used chicken, because I'm not a huge fan of steak fajitas. I didn't boil the leftover marinade. I went to, but then the bag I used slipped out of my hand and the marinade spilled all over the stove, floor, and fridge. Oops!! I think next time, I will reserve some of the marinade before I put the chicken in, and use that instead of boiling the leftovers. I know it's probably safe once you boil it, but it still skeeves me out!! We had this with the fixings (cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, peppers and onions). And the leftover chicken and peppers and onions were great over salad the next day!!"
Reviewed Apple Stuffed Pork Loin Roast
"I made this last weekend for Sunday dinner and it was delish! My husband is still raving about it. I bought fresh sage, but I must have left it in the cart or on the belt at the store because when I got home it wasn't here!! So I used dried, but next time I will definitely make it with fresh. I love sage. This was super easy, and a medium sized loin fed the 2 of us dinner, lunch, and left 1/2 a loan to freeze for another night. It is thawing for tonights meal. I will bake it, covered with foil, with apple juice in the pan to hopefully keep it moist. Great meal, thanks Paula!!"
Reviewed Swordfish and Spaghetti with Citrus Pesto
"Very good! I didn't have pine nuts so I just left them out, I think next time I'll definitely use them or walnuts. The pesto was a little runny without them. I didn't make it with pasta, we had asparagus and mashed potatoes on the side. I was really impressed with this, we were in tihe need of something fresh and light tasting!!"
Reviewed Brioche and Berry Bread Pudding with Lemon Fondant
"Wow this was sooooo good and very easy!! I love Tyler, his meals are simple but full of flavor. I've made a lot of his dishes and they're never fail.
I used a half a loaf of day old Italian bread. Berries are not in season but the frozen berry mix was on sale so I used that and let it thaw a little. I used fresh blackberries to garnish (they were on sale).
I used an 8x8 casserole dish. Definitely needs to be cooked about twice as long in a casserole dish, but that was fine by me.
I didn't care for the fondant. It tasted like soap to me. Maybe it was just me but I thought it tasted better without it.
This is delicious. Not too sweet, very easy to make, nice presentation. Great spring dessert, or even breakfast! I will definitely make this again.
Thanks Tyler for a GREAT MEAL.
