Umm...did you seriously not CHECK the potatoes? You just left them in there an hour and trusted it? Not having basic cooking knowledge is not a reason to rate a recipe one star.

Our regular grocery stores have up to 6 or 7 lbs. roasters whenever they go on sale. Even if you can't find one that big, just cut back on the time. You don't have to buy a 5 lb. chicken just because that's what the recipe says.

Sooo......you just go around to recipe pages that you feel aren't "up to par" with your culinary expertise and give it a one-star rating, even though you've never made the recipe? Okie dokie.....

I have made this recipe at least 15 times, and it never fails to come out magnificent. Garlic, lemon and thyme do NOT "ruin" the chicken...

Great idea on using the oven mitt! I have a huge scar on my pinky from almost slicing off the tip using a mandolin (I kind of have PTSD about it now!!!) but using an oven mitt is a great idea. I will try it out!

What the...I just....is this really a RECIPE? Prunes, hazelnuts and pork for meatloaf? This has got to be the nastiest thing ever put on Food Network. You have to get people's tastebuds going to be interested in making a recipe, and PRUNES AND HAZELNUTS? "The prunes are a little surprise!" Yeah, it's a surprise all right! I'm going to keep following...
