“I love horchata! This was my first attempt at trying to make it myself. I should of started it last night... waiting 3-4 hours for it was terrible! I did add 1/2 cup evaporated milk & only used 7 cups of water. Then I added vanilla like suggested (but that was at the end.). But, I don't think this has enough sugar. “My first pound cake ever! I made it last night in a silicone pan. This afternoon after cutting it, I realized it was super dense... even the lovely crust that tasted so good last night was harder. I heated each slice about 15 secs. in the microwave to soften it up. Made a little drizzle with water & powdered sugar, topped with whip cream. Everyone"”

I only got 9 out of the recipe, but that was my fault. Also, I started with the heat too low... & then too high! Didn't cut cut they berries small enough either. But, everyone loved them!
Even my daughter who doesn't eat anything... She ate 3!"”
