this recipe is a little better and more moist when you use 1 stick of butter instead of lard. but still a good biscuit, thanks jessica

almost perfect. i used seasoned croutons in place of the oats and added 2 tbs. of cumin. and absolutely drain the tomatoes, and add a 1/3 cup of good bbq sauce or A-1. keeps it super moist, and makes it less crumbly. this meatloaf will make you wanna smack yo mama lol

tastes great!!! but they did not rise, and did not make even close to 3 dozen. however, the biscuits were perfect if you dont mind them being flat. the flour... i took 1 tbs. of flour away from the recipe so they would not be too dry after rolling them out.. i would love to spend one day with paula dean. we share a love for butter
