My Activity

Reviewed Texas Oven-Roasted Beef Brisket

"I followed another post - add 1 cup red wine to stock & 1 tsp liquid smoke and NO salt. I cooked an 8 lb brisket, so I doubled all the amounts for the seasonings. Cooked it for 1 hour @ 350, then 7.5 hours at 270 degrees. Fell apart, it was so tender, when I tried to pull it out of the pan! Excellent taste, easy to cut, everyone raved about it""

Reviewed Rack of Lamb with Walnut Crust

"So easy. It was a Christmas dinner hit! We like our lamb medium. Cooked over 140 to make sure of it. Voted my best lamb recipe yet by all. Will go with this from now on for special meals.

Reviewed Garlic Mashed Potatoes

"I didn't mince my garlic fine enough. I just think regular mashed potatoes are my best bet. They are so easy.

Reviewed Raspberry Cake Bars

"Super, super easy! Took others' advice. 9x12 glass pan, sprayed with cooking spray. No problem coming out of the pan. Used almond extract, not lemon like others did. Huge hit at the office!
