Reviewed Sweet Potato Bundt Cake with Spiced Buttered Rum Glaze

"A very good, moist cake. Not 'sweet potato-y' at all. We substituted spiced rum for the water in the batter......because we could.
Can be lightened up a little by using 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce and 1/4 cup oil."

Reviewed Carrot-Cashew Salad

"This was very tasty and simple to make. We found the puree to be a bit watery so the 2nd time we left out the water. A little soy sauce instead of salt added a nice flavor."

Reviewed Turkey Picadillo Sandwiches

"Very quick and easy recipe to put together. We added some heat with habanero powder. The avocado is a nice touch with the heat. "

Reviewed Bean Cassoulet with Fennel Spiced Chicken and Roasted Vegetables

"The entire family loved it. I wouldn't change a thing. If you like fennel, the leftover rub goes well on steaks."

Reviewed Antipasto Sausage Skewers

"Super easy and delicious. The better the sausage used, the better the skewers. We found that using artichoke bottoms rather than hearts made them easier to make in mass quantities and actually had more artichoke flavor."

Reviewed Goat Cheese and Sun Dried Tomato Profiteroles with Herb Oil

"A bit time consuming but a very nice flavor. We saved ourselves some time by using the stand mixer and paddle to incorporate the eggs into the flour/butter/water mixture. We also preferred pistachios to walnuts. "

Reviewed Mini Italian Club Sandwiches

"Made two for a party and they went over well. Everyone thought they were 'cute' and tasty. We had some chopped/shredded prosciutto that we put on our second sandwich and it added great flavor."
