Both the crust and the apples tasted so good, and I served it with vanilla Haagen Dazs ice cream. I used orange liqueur with the apricot jam because I didn't have what the recipe called for but I wanted to use something other than water. I took the tart out of the oven after only 35 minutes but that was more than enough time.

I've never made biscuits from scratch before so I was a little intimidated to make them, but I'm so glad I did! I served them with a beef roast and vegetables and they were the perfect compliment to a comforting meal. I took them out of the oven after 16 minutes and that turned out to be plenty of time; I'm thankful I didn't leave them in any long"
