Reviewed Dragon's Breath Chili

"Made this a week ago and it was fabulous..I didn't have italian sausage so substituted ground pork. Great recipe as written..and then I made it again this weekend for a chili cook off - used the italian sausage this time..and added about 2 tsp. of semi sweet chocolate and a bit of habanero..it was amazing and I ended up winning the Peoples Choice award! But really, how can you go wrong when a recipe starts out with butter and bacon grease? Takes a bit of time with all the prep, but totally worth it. Thanks Guy!"

Reviewed East Hampton Clam Chowder

"This was just as I expected it to be..really hearty and delicious. I didn't add the carrots, and like other readers, I added a pinch of red pepper and then crumbled bacon at the end...my family couldn't get enough! Thanks Ina!

Reviewed Italian Wedding Soup

"I was really disappointed...but, I think it's my fault. I've tried many of Ina's recipes and they're always fantastic..but, I used italian sausage and ground turkey for the meatballs (what I had on hand, and against my better judgment, and all I could taste was sausage. None of the parmesan, garlic or any other flavors shined thru...so, I will give it another shot, using only turkey or chicken, I'm sure it will be just fine. Giving it 4 stars..I think Emeril has the best meatball soup recipe I've ever tried - or made...but I'm still true to Ina :

Reviewed Parker's Split Pea Soup

"Ina never dissappoints..I always look for her recipes when I want to try something new. I loved this mostly because it wasn't muddled with alot of 'stuff', the flavor of all the veggies shined. I added some chopped ham at the end and it only added to the flavors. I blended about 1/2 the soup and left the rest chunky, it made for great texture. Thanks Ina - again!
