Reviewed Beef Jerky
"This is the best Beef Jerky recipe going. I have tried a few others but by far the best is Alton's.
One batch I came up short and substituted Dale's Steak Seasoning for the Worcestershire and was again pleased with the results. I also resorted to using a large Heavy Duty Ziplock Bag for the marinading process rotating every hour for the prescribed time and using a dehydrator for the drying. As with the poster above problem is I tend to eat most of the Jerky myself in a day or two. I like to think of it as having a Very Short Shelf Life.
As always Alton has another winner.
