Reviewed Good Eats Roast Turkey
"Thanksgiving toasts included "Best Turkey Ever!". No more searches for a better recipe. Nope. I am done. This is it. Moist and tasty.
My aromatics were rosemary, sage, onion and lemon.
Don't forget to pre make the breast plate.
Thank you, Alton. Excellent work. Excellent.
Would like to add that brining is important, but purchasing a brined Koshe"
Reviewed Mushroom Stroganoff with Goat Cheese
"Very tasty and a good non meat meal. We tried it tonight. Would make it again. We loved it.Great taste, texture and flavor.
However,
I suggest you drain the pasta, but keep some pasta water and add it to taste when you need it.
A couple of other ideas: add some lemon zest or a bit of lemon or lime juice.Another time you might want to add a bit of "
Reviewed Martha Stewart's Banana Bread
"This is my only banana bread recipe . I get constant compliments on it. I stopped looking and gave up the others.
I only use sweet butter and leave out the nuts. Once in a while I throw in the cho chips,
but I think they detract from the buttery banana vanilla flavors."

Reviewed Baked Cranberry Sauce
"I have made this many times.Easy and delicious. I reduce the sugar just a bit.
My husband likes the canned jelly stuff,
but thinks this is great, too. I have both on the table.""
Reviewed Tangy Sweet Potatoes
"My husband was worried. He was suspicious of the ingredients. I kept saying "Rachel said to trust her". I did. She was right. The buttermilk, marmalade, hot sauce and brown sugar work.
They are really good. I am usually just butter and S&P for sweet potatoes and I hate the sweet stuff at Thanksgiving. These are different. Try 'em. You can play aro"
Reviewed Risotto Milanese
"I found this recipe in March 14 PEOPLE mag. I love risotto and have worked on honing my technique that I first learned in one of Marcella Hazan's cookbooks. I practice. Some are great. Some are not, I screw up, but the process is wonderful. I tried this. I was a little worried about the 2 cups of white wine. But, no, this is great. The wine compliments the saffron and I would not decrease the amount. This dish is rich and wonderful. Mmmmmmm. Love it! Plus, lots of mmmmmmm's around the table. "
Reviewed Parker House Rolls
"Made them today for Thanksgiving. Baked some fresh to "road test".Froze the others. I made them because Alex is a judge and expected an excellent Parker House. My advice? Pick up some at the store. These were dense and lacked flavor. There was an underlying flavor that was lard like, even though I used very good butter and all organic ingredients and am comfortable making bread. Adding the melted butter on the top with the salt almost made it too salty. It is not going to work for the table. At least not one that I can serve with pride.
BTW, the yeast was not an issue.
It was really flavor followed by texture.
On a positive note, the steps and pictures were really nice, attractive and easy to follow.
