My Activity

Reviewed Crispy Kale "Chips"

"The key to this recipe is making sure the kale is DRY. If there is any water on the leaves it will wilt, stink and be horrible. Otherwise it is heavenly! I added a touch of garlic powder and could have eaten ten times more it was so DELISH."

Reviewed Mango Salsa

"I followed recipe exactly, and added a can of black beans (rinsed). I sauteed some shrimp, warmed some corn tortillas, added this salsa, avocado slices and grated cheddar and made shrimp tacos. Amazing! I could have eaten the whole bowl of salsa - it was fresh and delicious.""

Reviewed Cava Sangria

"Nice summer drink. It was similar to the sangria de cava I had in Barcelona last summer, minus the strawberries and mint, and maybe a tad too sweet. I skipped the strawberries/mint & added a few raspberries instead, more for color than flavor. I like the other reviewer's suggestion of nectarine. Really, any light, in season fruit will do, as it"

Reviewed Slow-Cooker Brisket Sandwiches

"Great texture - fell apart, tender and juicy. However, sauce was very runny, oily and kinda funky tasting. Strong vinegar odor but no distinct flavor. I will definitely make brisket in slow cooker again, but I will find another recipe.
