Reviewed Crispy Kale "Chips"

Jan 27, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The key to this recipe is making sure the kale is DRY. If there is any water on the leaves it will wilt, stink and be horrible. Otherwise it is heavenly! I added a touch of garlic powder and could have eaten ten times more it was so DELISH."

Reviewed Mango Salsa

I followed recipe exactly, and added a can of black beans (rinsed). I sauteed some shrimp, warmed some corn tortillas, added this salsa, avocado slices and grated cheddar and made shrimp tacos. Amazing! I could have eaten the whole bowl of salsa - it was fresh and delicious.""

Reviewed Slow-Cooker Brisket Sandwiches

Feb 20, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Great texture - fell apart, tender and juicy. However, sauce was very runny, oily and kinda funky tasting. Strong vinegar odor but no distinct flavor. I will definitely make brisket in slow cooker again, but I will find another recipe.
