These are fabulous! Hands down. However I did a few things to make this a faster and do ahead dish. I layered the potatoes in a large round quiche dish which I buttered and rubbed with garlic. Excellent! I used the leftover corned beef and instead of the raw potato used my leftover boiled potatoes and carrots (even diced up a bit of the leftover cabbage). Cooked all that until it was browned and added the cheese and an over easy egg for a 2nd meal for this annual corned beef dinner. Rave reviews from my family!

LOVED IT! I did not have any mushroom soup in the house, so I used a jar of gravy and it was fabulous. I also added carrots and potatoes the last hour. My family requested I make two next time!

This was A BIG hit with a group of poker players! They absolutely loved it, it was so easy to make (no cooking!) and it was wonderful for a hot summer night. Ina did say KOSHER salt and there is a big difference between kosher and table salt. Those who won't try this again are really losing out.
