Reviewed soft-boiled eggs with asparagus soldiers

Dec 22, 2014 on

I love soft boiled eggs. Reminds me of when I was a child and my mother who was of English and Irish heritage. I'm trying this recipe tomorrow morning because every recipe I have tried from other sources have never turned out with the right consistency. The picture of these above looks amazing. If mine turn out as good as those above it will definitely...

Reviewed spicy pop pulled pork

Pork was as tender as can be, but too spicy for children, 11oz. of chipolte in adobo was just too much. My grandchildren could not eat it. Next time I will definitely cut down on the chipolte in adobo.

Had a great taste. Followed the instructions exactly, but found it was very watery. Could not cut like Ree did on the show. Even cooked it longer in the bain marie. Next time I will add more eggs and cheese and maybe cut down on the milk and dry the chiles off real well. That can of chiles was $10.50. Had to order from Amazon. Made it with...

This recipe is probably a wonderful recipe, but the ingredients list roast beef. Well what cut of roast beed: tenderloin, chuck, top round, eye of the round, etc. I know the cuts are different in England because I have been there, but it would be really nice if the American equivalent of the cut of beef that was used was listed in the recipe. This recipe is absolutely delicious. Had a dinner party and everyone loved it. I doubled the recipe and 5 of us nearly finished it. This recipe would also be good with pieces of deboned, cooked chicken breasts. I ordered the trofie online thru Amazon, but you could make it with penne regata."

Reviewed Roast Beef with Gravy

Feb 9, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Great recipe. Made a few changes after reading previous reviews. Only had a 3.5 lbs. rump roast. Heavily seasoned beef with S & P, but also mixed garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme and dried rosemary. Rubbed onto roast and let sit for an hour. Did not have heavy duty aluminum foil so I used a roasting bag. Poured the vinegar in and cov"

Reviewed Pork Roast with Hard Cider Gravy

Oct 12, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

This is my go to pork roast recipe. My family just loves it because most pork roasts are tough and this comes out so tender. The only changes I made was to add ground sage to the pork when seasoning it prior to browning and also doubling the onions, apples and cider. My family loves the gravy so I make extra to pour over mashed potatoes. I sea"

Very disappointed in this dessert. I usually love everything that Ina makes, but this was not as tasty as I thought it would be. If I would make it again, I would probably add cinnamon to the crumble mixture. It was really lacking much of a taste. Her plum crunch was much better!"

Absolutely fabulous! Made this for my family and served it over pappardella. The only change I made was to add 4 cloves of garlic minced and extra crushed red peppers. They could not stop eating it. It was a good thing I put half of the bolognese into freezer containers before I served it. If my family had gotten hold of those containers the...

Made this recipe for Girls' Night" at my house last night. It was just wonderful. There was nothing left. I made the recipe just the way it was written, no changes. The ladies could not stop raving about the chicken. Next time, I will make this with couscous so that the gravy will be soaked up by the pasta. Can't wait to make this again.""

Light as Air. Made Anne's gnocchi and they were as light as air. Made a sauce of butter, sage, peas and parmesan. They were exceptional. Can't believe how easy they were to make and how well they turned out. Had guests for dinner and they raved about how good they were. I can tell you, that I have often ordered them in restaurants and her's...
