Seems like I have always been in the kitchen. Since 3 years old, I began by rolling and eating Taystee or Wonder bread balls, tasting cookie dough and cake batter, helping stir everything and setting the table. The kitchen has always been a place of enjoyment and therapy and for me. I hope I will be like my Mom, who lives independently and still loves to cook, even at 93 years old! I am so happy because I am married to a man who loves to cook and experiment, also, and is very comfortable in our kitchen. He is terrific using our grill and the smoker 12 months of the year, even if he has to rake off snow!
We both watch a lot of Food Network shows, enjoy reading the reviews (which have been very helpful) and have downloaded and used many, many of the recipes.
