Reviewed Good Eats Meatloaf

Aug 21, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is a great recipe! It was extremely moist. For anyone who says it wasn't moist enough then I'm going to assume their ratio of meat to vegetables and croutons was wrong and they had too much meat. The other fix-ins really help to keep it moist."

Reviewed Chicken Enchiladas

Feb 10, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I thought this recipe was great! I made a few changes. I cooked the chicken with all the seasoning and tomatoes in a crock pot all day on low for 8 hours and then stuffed the tortillas (i used whole wheat flour ones) and covered with enchilada sauce and baked. I couldn't believe how much flavor there was! They were soooo good!""

Reviewed Slow Cooker Pepper Pork Chops

My husband loved it. I do not personally like pork chips but my husband couldn't get enough! I could not find dried apple slices at my store so I used dried pears instead and added about 3 fresh apples to the recipe. This recipe was a lot of work but it definitely seemed worth it!""

Reviewed Tangy Barbecue Chicken

Jan 30, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Loved it! I didnt use the grill and instead did everything on the stove. Made some extra for the next day but I must say it does not hold its flavor well and when we re-heated it, it was not nearly as good.""

Reviewed Janette's Oven-Baked French Fries with Homemade Ketchup

Dec 12, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The fries do take longer to cook than the recipe calls for. I did 20-25 minutes and then realized I should broil them. I broiled them for 4 minutes on each side and they came out perfectly and crunchy without the fat from frying them. Definitely recommend but just make sure you broil them.""
