Delicious! Made this after receiving some saffron pasta and thought the sauce would be great and it worked! Great flavor and the vanilla brought a new taste to it. If you like spinach plain or with cream, this is a good alternative. The creaminess does not overpower the spinach, so if you're hiding from it, you're out of luck. If you crave creamed spinach and want something a bit lighter, try this. A little extra salt and pepper will help. Works with both frozen and fresh spinach."

I agree with many other raters that this recipe has way too much butter. I've made it twice now, and the second time I cut the butter by a half and it was still floating around on my plate when I finished eating it. Even with less butter, the taste is still great, but I think is too greasy for me. I may try again with almost no butter."
