My Activity

Reviewed Old Time Chocolate Fudge

"Have NEVER had good success with fudge - until this recipe. Have made 5 times since just before Christmas, and each time was great!!! It was even so good I used some for gifts.

I didn't use quite all of the milk; used 3/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon of evaporated milk, and made sure to cook it until the soft ball formed well in cold water, approx"

Reviewed Lemon Lime Soda Apple Dumplings

"This is so delicious, and huge time saver. Every time I make these, get many compliments. A dietician friend of mine uses diet Mtn. Dew, and half the sugar; it's still delicious.""

About Me

Nanny, Mom & wife - with all guys in the house.  The only other female in the house is a black cat, and she is NOT permitted to help me cook - but loves to linger around my feet when there's bacon or barbeque

Meat, meat, and more meat satisfy Hubby's tummy, while Grandson loves fruits and shares his Nanny's passion for desserts.  Grown Son likes Mom's cooking, and usually gets something sent home with him after a visit.

As Mother before me, feeding family is one of the ways of "Loving" them.  We all enjoy that.
