This was the first time I had ever made tomato soup. For my taste, I thought it had too many onions. I would add some sugar to cut back on the acidity of the tomatoes. I enjoyed this recipe. I didn't have a leek, so I used a large onion. Didn't have the turnip, so left it out. I also added some dried Tarragon and some fresh lemon rind. I cut back on the salt to 1 tsp as I read on other reviews. I really enjoy this recipe. "

We loved this recipe. The flavors were unbelievable. Very easy but a little time consuming, but worth the effort. The only change I made was to add 1 tsp of sugar to cut the acidity. I served it with grilled zucchini. THIS IS A KEEPER FOR SURE. "

After seeing Laura made this wonderful salad, I thought I would just try the zucchini, since that is all I had in the frig. I used my OXO mandeline and got them paper thin and used a homemade raspberry vinegarette and topped with feta. This was delicious. I will be anxious to try with all of the additional veggies for my Easter dinner. Wonder...
