My Activity

Reviewed Rigatoni with Vegetable Bolognese

"i thought this recipe was really easy and really good- especially the following 2 days. I added zucchini & green squash to mine to give it a more chunky feel - the same time I added the fresh mushrooms. I also didn't have the porcini mushrooms so instead of using that water like the recipe called for i used vegetable broth and it turned out fine. "

Reviewed Marinara Sauce

"I thought the sauce was good, not as much flavor as I like in my marinara sauce. I had to add dry basil and oregano and extra garlic cloves to give it more flavor but overall, I enjoyed it and served with wheat angel hair pasta."

Reviewed Chicken Piccata

"I followed the recipe to the T and my family felt the sauce was totally overpowering. Also once the chicken was put back in the sauce to simmer for 5 minutes, all of the flower began to get soggy and gross even though it was a light coat. SO disappointed :("

Reviewed Oatmeal Cookie Pancakes

"these were delicious!!! I did 1/4 cup of brown sugar instead since most reviews said it was a bit too sweet. I also divided cinnamon with half of that and half nutmeg. I used golden raisins and regular ones just to mix it up. they truly don't need any syrup cuz they're so sweet on their own but it would be dry without it. We just topped ours with "

Reviewed Lots O'Meat Lasagna

"This recipe is a hit in my family!!! I've made it twice already and both times, everyone loved it. I used plain old ground beaf and watever spicy italian sausage was on sale at the market. You'd think ricotta cheese is what you need but the cottage cheese is MUCH cheaper and tastes great!!

Btw, i DID NOT cook the pasta in water before hand. The "

Reviewed BBQ Chicken Burgers with Slaw

"My family really enjoyed this recipe and said it had great flavor! I used wheat buns instead. I used ground turkey instead of ground chicken because that's all our super market had. I used valentina for the hot sauce. I also made a chipotle mayo to eat with it since my hubby only eats spicy food to also give it an extra kick and since he doesn't l"

Reviewed Tex Wasabi's Koi Fish Tacos

"I'm disappointed ;( these sounded so good so I wanted to give it a try but for some reason, not as exciting as the reviews made them. The fish was really good but I couldn't taste much of the tequila in them and the batter was super crispy on the fish (used tilapia instead because it's much cheaper) but def. time consuming. If you don't have tempu"

Reviewed George's Artichoke Tuna Salad

"This was SUPER easy and SUPER delicious. I bought some french baguette and mixed greens and put some of the tuna on the baguette with some jack cheese, melted it and topped with greens and made the perfect lunch!! I was hesitant about the cilantro but actually it's yummy. The lemon is perfect, i also reduced the mayo (only put about a 1/4-1/2 cup)"
