"Saw the show for the first time this morning and loved how quick and simple the recipes were. I had both shredded coconut and condensed milk and made this and it is delicious. I would suggest maybe using 2/3 or 3/4 condensed milk can rather than the whole as my tooth began hurting. But I was amazed how delicious it turned out just using 2 ingredients. "
"This is a very quick and easy recipe. I used multi-grain bread instead and got it cut at the bakery but it was much smaller as it was a loaf and not a baguette. However, it worked the same except for the cheese I had to smear. I read the previous reviews and added a splash of balsamic and not sure if it did anything. It would be nice if someone knows how to spruce up the mixture since it was a bit bland. Any suggestions?"
Reviewed Curried Couscous Salad
"I read all the reviews before making this yesterday. Some of the things I noticed was that the couscous came out dry. I would recommend adding more broth to cook the couscous since mine came out dry and I used vegetable broth as I wanted it to be vegetarian. I added more vegetables such as zucchini, green onions and bell peppers. For protein I added garbanzo or chick peas as suggested by other reviewers, which was as excellent as it made it more filling. I loved the roasted cauliflower it was excellent and I use cauliflower a lot but I mostly sautee it. Also, I made more of the dressing, added more lemon since I like it lemony and added honey like recommended by other reviewers and added it to the couscous and put it in the fridge in the hopes it would moisten it, but it had no impact. I like the recipe but I did not enjoy the dryness of the couscous and would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations any one has. "
Reviewed Dill Fingerling Potatoes
"Very easy and quick. I made this last night and I think next time I might add some garlic to spice it up. I did not make the mustard fish as I am not big on meat but had this as a side with couscous, which was a nice filling compliment. "
Reviewed Korean Yaki Mandu
"I was unable to find potsticker wrapper so I used wonton wrappers instead. Instead of beef I used ground chicken. It took forever to make and was a lot of effort. I will add a few more flavoring next time as the filling was sort of bland. The dressing is good but very salty not sure how to fix it. I would recommend the sweet and sour sauce you get with Spring or Egg Rolls at most Chinese or Vietnamese Restaurants. Also, next time I will it make with with tofu only and add a few more vegetables. I learned a lot and appreciated Sunny bringing this recipe from Korea as I lived in Seoul, but never ate Yaki Mundu since I do not eat beef. However, there are many dishes I miss and makes me nostalgic and I am glad I can make some of these at home myself. Thank you Sunny!! "
Reviewed Ricotta Pancakes
"I read the previous reviews and added lemon zest into the pancake batter however the taste was lost as I put a little bit of rose water in the syrup. The syrup was very light and delicious and I added more water to dilute the sugar and honey. I will not add rose water to syrup next time or if I do it will be a dash (its my first time cooking with it). The pancake mix I had was multi-grain so the pancake was a bit grainy but very filling and soft. Also, I used fresh blueberries and skim ricotta cheese and it worked out well. I think next time I will add more lemon zest in the batter. I still have a lot left over...my partner and I could not eat more than two each. "
"Made this recipe for V-Day and it tasted better the next day. The pasta and vegetables need to absorb the flavor and once it does it tastes amazing. I made some changes as my partner and I are not a big fan of snow peas and sugar snaps. I substituted red bell peppers and scallions. Also, squeezing lemon juice on top of the pasta before serving really brings out the flavors. Thank you Ellie for the great healthy recipe!!
Reviewed Massaged Kale Salad
