Reviewed Quick and Easy Coconut Bark ("Cocada"

Mar 26, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Saw the show for the first time this morning and loved how quick and simple the recipes were. I had both shredded coconut and condensed milk and made this and it is delicious. I would suggest maybe using 2/3 or 3/4 condensed milk can rather than the whole as my tooth began hurting. But I was amazed how delicious it turned out just using 2 ingredients....

This is a very quick and easy recipe. I used multi-grain bread instead and got it cut at the bakery but it was much smaller as it was a loaf and not a baguette. However, it worked the same except for the cheese I had to smear. I read the previous reviews and added a splash of balsamic and not sure if it did anything. It would be nice if someone knows...

I read all the reviews before making this yesterday. Some of the things I noticed was that the couscous came out dry. I would recommend adding more broth to cook the couscous since mine came out dry and I used vegetable broth as I wanted it to be vegetarian. I added more vegetables such as zucchini, green onions and bell peppers. For protein I added...

Very easy and quick. I made this last night and I think next time I might add some garlic to spice it up. I did not make the mustard fish as I am not big on meat but had this as a side with couscous, which was a nice filling compliment. "

I was unable to find potsticker wrapper so I used wonton wrappers instead. Instead of beef I used ground chicken. It took forever to make and was a lot of effort. I will add a few more flavoring next time as the filling was sort of bland. The dressing is good but very salty not sure how to fix it. I would recommend the sweet and sour sauce you get...

I read the previous reviews and added lemon zest into the pancake batter however the taste was lost as I put a little bit of rose water in the syrup. The syrup was very light and delicious and I added more water to dilute the sugar and honey. I will not add rose water to syrup next time or if I do it will be a dash (its my first time cooking with...

Reviewed Aromatic Noodles With Lime Peanut Sauce

Feb 15, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Made this recipe for V-Day and it tasted better the next day. The pasta and vegetables need to absorb the flavor and once it does it tastes amazing. I made some changes as my partner and I are not a big fan of snow peas and sugar snaps. I substituted red bell peppers and scallions. Also, squeezing lemon juice on top of the pasta before serving really...
