"I've made candy for years, but never had much success with divinity. I tried Paula's recipe for Christmas, and it turned out perfect!! I used a candy thermometer, and my KitchenAid mixer, and I think that was the key because I've always used a hand mixer. The KitchenAid frees up your hands while pouring and beating..so much easier. I omitted the nuts from the mixture, but topped each piece with a pecan half or cherry...Yummy!
