Reviewed Lentil Cookies
"Made these last night and they tasted very nice. Like a mellow spice cookie. This afternoon I drzzled them with chocolate and that took them right over the top. Very good for something healthy."
Reviewed Ginger Almonds
These were so easy. One Tablespoon of ginger sounds like a lot but none of the spices or seasoning overpowered the nuts. A very nice balance with just the right kick. Try them you and you too will think they are addictive.
Although I don't like to review a recipe if I made changes, I think my changes were quite minimal, and for the most part recipes are just guide lines. I addes a good amound of fresh oregano and parsley. Trying to re-create the tortollini salad from Rafettos on Housten and Sullivan in NYC. Didn't come close but it was really good. I knew my Hu"
"Made this for dinner last night and I loved it. My husband also loved it and he is not a big fan of salads. It deserves 5 stars. "
Reviewed Crispy Mustard Braised Pork Belly
"THis was really quite delicious, but just a tad bit salty as the mustard has quite a bit of salt in it. Will cut back on the salt next time. For those that said it was fatty, you have to cut the skin and the fat off. Mine had no fat whatsoever and the veggies and juice made a very nice sauce. I also added three chunked carrots. Plenty of leftov"
Reviewed Roasted Sausages and Grapes
"Just make this you will not think about sausage and peppers again. Don't be so crazy about the liquid, pour it in, it just makes more to sop up with the bread. Really really good."
Reviewed Funked Out Pork Quesadilla
"This was quite good. I had a bit of pulled pork leftover and just used the recipe using that. Will make again, would also make a great hors d' oeuvre before dinner using smaller tortillas. The crema would be great on a burger, chicken, turkey or fish taco. Served it with some mango cole slaw. Refreshing. Try this you won't be sorry."
Reviewed Mango and Red Cabbage Slaw
"Made this to go with Ropa Vieja. It was light, delicious and complimented the heaviness of the stew. Will definately make again with Tex-Mex food."
