My Activity

Reviewed Southwest Turkey Burgers

"It amazes me people who make changes to a recipe and then complain that it was too dry or too salty, etc. If you are going to add more bread crumbs then it is probably going to be dry! Great flavor and moist, love all of Rachel's burger recipes."

Reviewed Beef with Snow Peas

"Ree is my new Culinary Goddess. I have not made one recipe that we did not like (I have a standing list of teenagers that must be invited to dinner when I make the Ranch Style Chicken). We eat a lot of flank steak and I've always believed that you had to marinade it for days to get it tender and tasty. No way would I have believed that this wou"

Reviewed Vietnamese Lime Chicken Wings

"Awesome. The whole family loved these wings. I lucked out with the kaffir leaves. My freezer is now well stocked and I will be making these over and over. Did not serve with a sauce, will try that the next time to "

Reviewed Stracciatella Semifreddo

"This is the first time I made semifreddo and it won't be the last. For the most part this recipe is like most of Giada's--VERY RICH so you can only eat a small bite. I am not kidding when I say that everyone at my table was "mmmm-ing" each time they took a bite. I could not find hazelnuts so I used almonds and I used Nonni's original biscotti (had slivers of almonds and other flavorings). The crust was to die for. The frozen Nutella was so good. With the lefotver Nutella, I put some on top of a scoop of vanilla ice cream, put in the freezer until hard. YUMM. One last ocmment, I made mine the night before and put it in the small upright freezer in the basement. Helpful because someone was not constantly opening and closing the freezer door. The semifreddo was hard when I took it out to serve but it quickly started to soften so I would not take out of the freezer until ready to serve. "
