Reviewed Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies

Mar 30, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These were the most bland tasting cookies I have had in a long time. I have no idea why anyone here rated these high. They were soft, and actually if I cooked them slightly longer than in the recipe the texture was better. Still bland though, and I will not make this again. Sorry.

I think this was a great dish. I used cottage cheese since I didn't have ricotta and hubby doesn't like it much anyway. I also used a Romona, Parmesan, and asiago blend of cheeses which was fantastic tasting! Love the topping but will decrease the butter amount a bit I think next time.

Not the best pancakes I have ever made. I thought they were ok. The butter taste was nice, didn't feel the need to add any to the tops when done. They were thin though. Can't see how others were complaining it wasn't thin enough. I like mine a bit thicker, you know, pan, cake! Over all an easy recipe to make and quick too!

Jan 20, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was very tasty even my 6 yr old son loved it! I didn't add potatoes because I didn't have any at the time. And instead of riccota cheese I used cottage cheese. The gruyer cheese I changed with Asiago cheese. I also added sliced tomatoes to the top. It was heavenly. I will try the recipe again the way it is written here, but had to use what I...

Reviewed Easy Cheese Danish

Jan 1, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made these for a brunch the day after Christmas. I tried them out a few days before on my in-laws, who were visiting for the holidays. (My in-laws are from Denmark!) They both loved the danish! They said for a quick danish made in your home, it was very very good! (And they should know danish since they are danish! HA!) Thank you Ina! Your recipe...

I made these exactly as the recipe calls for, and they are the best blueberry muffins! I used fresh blueberries I had frozen (thawed them first) from the summer, and they turned out wonderful! Thanks Ina!!

This is the first recipe I tried of Ina's that I didn't give it 5 stars. These muffins were good, but not as good as the Neely's banana bread which I also made muffins with. Thanks Ina! Keep em' coming!

They need more stars to rate this recipe! I made some for a sweet treat basket I am making up, and it smelled so good, I had to make myself some as well. Out of this world good! The only thing I did different, after reading reviews, was split the bread in half and made it in two loaf pans. It would have flowed over for sure I had I put it all in only...

I made this recipe 3 ways. One with semi sweet chocolate, apricots, cranberries, and pistachios. The second with butterscotch, mango, orange, and cashews. The third with white chocolate, pineapple, and macadamias. However, I forgot to put them on parchment paper. (I made mine in different shape molds to give a different look to each as well. So I...

Nov 23, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

After reading the reviews, I decided to try the mint extract, and lower the vanilla to 1/4tsp. These turned out so very tasty!

I didn't watch the video however, until after they were in the oven. Never piped before, so did my best. The first few turned out to look like snowmen (silly). But after a bit they looked like small fluffy...

P.S. I am going to make this with rum flavoring for my sister in law, who is having a baby in the summer. Using alcohol sometimes brings out a nice flavor in foods when cooking. But it's not for everyone! Good thing we can omit or substitute if needed!

I am making a treat basket for a family that recently lost their son, and is probably not thinking of baking any holiday treats at this time. After watching Ina's show that had this on, it looked so good! I tried it try it on family first. I used way to much rum, and the inside was like a sticky goo. I made them up anyway, my family still loved them!...
