Replied to seared scallops

Yours were treated scallops to make them plump and white (I hate that some purveyors do this). Buy a dry diver scallop and you'll see (and taste) the difference immediately.

Replied to hand pulled pan fried noodles

Mar 25, 2014 on

who wouldn't love to make pulled noodles, i would! but 60 servings.... even I couldn't use all of that. I hate to do this, but my comment is to balance out the one from Martha_Major who neglected to 'READ THE RECIPE' before making a comment. Yes, 25 lbs of flour, 2 eggs AND 2 GALLONS OF WATER, will make noodles.

Susan, I'm just seeing your question. You could definitely use bread crumbs, quinoa, or bulgur in place of the wheat germ. In the US, wheat germ is typically in the same place in our stores as oatmeal, cornmeal and other broken down grains.

It's the best ever, you'll never buy that nasty stuff from the grocery store again. Super easy, last for a couple of weeks in the frig. Use whateve...

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one this didn't work for. I'm also in a hot climate and may try it again this fall/winter. Also glad to read similar review for Chuck's no knead bread, which I intended to make also. I'll wait for cooler weather for that also. I'm sure the recipe is fine, it appeared so on the program, it just didn't work for ...

Phenomenally good and so easy to make. I love saag paneer and had no idea I could make (really) the best paneer at home. This is so good. I used fresh spinach (which is so much better) and a whole (read unseeded) fresno chili for this. This recipe is great, you gotta try it."

I watched the show last night and because I love calamari steaks, I was very excited today to print the recipe out to try.
