"It was O-Kay, kinda disappointed by it being basically like a cheesecake with a super buttery crust. I wouldn't call it a cake either, more like cheesecake butter bars. Way too sweet and unbalanced for my liking. Bummer since I'd made it hoping it was a sure thing. Maybe Paula Deen's recipes are just not my favorite."

"I thought this was a big winner. Not at all healthy, but then again it is a Paula Deen recipe. I can see it being a huge hit at a party. It was the perfect and unusual combo of sweet and cheesy. "I thought this recipe was great. I ended up using only 12 oz blackberries instead of 16. I also substituted tarragon vinegar for the white balsalmic. Thought it was great as it was but may add a little more sugar next time and not toss as much into the salad. Great base for any vinaigrette. My boyfriend went back for seconds.
