Tasty. Yummy. Delicious. Awesome on doughnuts. Awesome to eat by the spoonful. I think it would go great on a Vanilla Bundt cake or pound cake. Easy to make. :-)"

Caution. I made this cake and it was wonderful...except for the topping. It was sandy and wouldn't cling to the cake at all. I double checked the recipe to be sure I didn't mis-measure. Since it came out wrong, I watched the video of Ina making it to see what was going on. She said 1 1/3 cup flour (like the recipe), but the video showed her o"

This recipe is super easy and super yummy and made with ingredients that I always have on hand. Try it!"

This was disappointing, and we won't make it again. We followed the recipe exactly: cream, whole milk, and all the right cheeses, etc. It did thicken up after standing for 10 minutes, but the texture was all wrong and it didn't look good. It was not creamy; it was stringy and grainy. The flavor was good. However none of my three boys liked it"

Reviewed Flat Apple Pie with Perfect Pie Crust

Feb 3, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I think it is a great pie! I made a few little changes: I added 2 TBSP of sugar to the pie crust to give it more flavor, I added cinnamon to the apples, and I used a mix of Granny Smiths and Mac's. I did not chill my dough like she did on TV, but my dough remained cold, since it's winter and I'm in MA. I didn't roll the crust as thin as I woul...

I love this recipe. I made it for my in-laws when they were up visiting, and it was a hit. I've made this recipe about 4 times now, and it never disappoints. I love the gravy. I use milk instead of buttermilk, since I never seem to have buttermilk on hand. Thanks, Tyler!""

Reviewed Marinara Sauce

Great sauce and super easy to make. We used it for Chicken Parmesan. Normally we would use our own homemade sauce or in a pinch jarred sauce. But we had neither. This was speedy to make and tasted great. Didn't take too long, so dinner was on the table in an hour. This recipe means I'll never need to buy sauce in a jar again. ""

We make this all the time. It's a family favorite. My 3 boys (ages 6,5, and 3) never complain when this is for supper. Yummy. We go a little lighter on the cayenne pepper. Sometimes my husband adds some shrimp to it too. Sometimes we make it with brown rice. Either way, it's always great.""

I've only made mashed sweet potatoes a couple of times in the past, and they've turned out okay. Ina's recipe is great! The most important difference was baking the sweet potatoes. Most recipes I've seen say to boil them. Baking them retains such a gorgeous color! Getting the skins off them was super easy too. I love the touch of orange juic"

Emeril comes through again with a great recipe! I wanted a "Johnny cakes" recipe that was fluffier and less dense. These cornmeal pancakes are fantastic, and easy to make. I've also made them without the Essence and by adding blueberries or bits of sausage in them. You've got to make these!"
