Reviewed Banana Bread
"I've tried many banana bread recipes and this one is the best. I believe it's the vegetable shortening that lends a crisp outer crust and fluffy center to this delicious snack bread. My cook time was far less than suggested in the recipe. 45-50 minutes was all I needed and I used a dark metal loaf pan (Caphalon).
Reviewed Chocolate-Toffee Pecan Tart
"The filling is excellent, but I wish the crust was a bit sweeter and called for more sugar. Maybe granulated sugar would've worked better than the confectioners sugar. Overall, very good.
