"I've made this punch several times for office parties and everyone loves it. I keep making it because they keep asking for it. The ginger ale gives it a kick without any alcohol. You could certainly add it if you wanted, but it's really not necessary.
As far as putting orange sherbet in it, that's not my thing, but I'm guessing it would thicken "
